Our company always takes care of the customer….Right?  But are we really?

Our company always takes care of the customer….Right?  But are we really?  Your customer calls in to do business with your Company in one of several different areas: Service, Parts, sales, repairs, Finance, pay a bill and find out general information to name a few areas. Most of the time they are calling to spend money or because they have spent money.  They are hot customer or potentially hot customers.  What are they hearing when you call in?  Have you called your own company lately to find out what you sound like to your customer?  Analyze what your customer is hearing and ask the question….would I do  business with my messaging system

How you treat potential customers once they call says it all!

They call in to hear an informative voice and get help.  If you provide them silence or just music at anytime during their call the likelihood that they will hang up during the call is almost 50/50. You will not and cannot always provide a real live person to hang with them 24/7 when they call.

Our company always takes care of the customer….Right?  But are we really?

If they do not hear people talking and delivering a solid helpful message that engages their interest they zone out and hang up.  Opportunity Lost, Sales Dollars Lost and Customer Lost!  Most will say we do not put people On-Hold.  Well if you have an Auto Attendant, if you transfer the customer to a department, if you answer and have to run get information for them or transfer them on to someone else the customer is ON-HOLD.

So then what are you telling them about your customer service with silence or just music?   Basically you are telling them we don’t care about this part of your dealership experience.  We have all been there with bad a Bad On-Hold experience. Realize what you are doing and don’t let your customers experience and your bottom line suffer.

Always analyze what you sound like to your potential customer!  Our company always takes care of the customer….Right?  But are we really?
